This spring, thousands of Arizona teachers walked out of the classroom to protest low pay and other concerns. We’ve also seen teacher strikes in other states, including Oklahoma, West Virginia and most recently, Washington.
The Show was joined by Elizabeth Ross to talk about the effects of these actions, and another one that could be on the horizon in California. She is the managing director of teacher policy at the non-partisan policy and advocacy group National Council on Teacher Quality.
