More International Visitors Coming To U.S., But Not From Our Closest Neighbors

Slightly more international visitors came to the United States in 2017 than the year before. Specifically, there was a 0.7 percent increase from 2016.

The biggest gains were from countries including South Korea and Brazil and there was a drop in the number of visitors coming from Mexico.

To help break down the numbers, Greg Staley joined The Show. He the senior vice president for communications at the U.S. Travel Association in Washington, D.C.

Mark Brodie is a co-host of The Show, KJZZ’s locally produced news magazine. Since starting at KJZZ in 2002, Brodie has been a host, reporter and producer, including several years covering the Arizona Legislature, based at the Capitol.
