Is Arizona's Wettest October In History Helping The Drought?

Saturday’s rainfall helped make this one of the wettest Octobers on record according to the National Weather Service.

The next rainiest October on record was in 1972.

To address what this means for the region, Charlie Ester, a hydrologist with Salt River Project, came on The Show.

Mark Brodie is a co-host of The Show, KJZZ’s locally produced news magazine. Since starting at KJZZ in 2002, Brodie has been a host, reporter and producer, including several years covering the Arizona Legislature, based at the Capitol.
