Arizona State University’s downtown campus helped transform Phoenix. It’s home to nearly 12,000 students and the campus is continuing to grow.

ASU President Michael Crow said the downtown campus is only halfway to its goal.

What does the future of ASU downtown hold for both the university and the city? And with downtown Phoenix already filling in with a variety of businesses and residents, can it realistically handle an ASU expansion?

To get an idea of Crow’s vision and the future of downtown ASU, The Show spoke with the Arizona Republic’s Rachel Leingang.
