Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport was ranked the best airport in the United States for air travelers for the second time in a row.
Sky Harbor did not rank first in any one category, but made strong showings in accessibility and location, affordable parking, short security and wait lines, and low cancellation or delay rates.
The study was conducted by the frequent-flier website “The Points Guy.” This is the second time the website has ranked the 30 best and worst airports in the U.S. and the second time Sky Harbor was ranked first.
“The Points Guy” also praised Salt Lake City, Portland and San Diego’s airports for their accessibility and amenities offered. The website faulted New York’s JFK, LaGuardia and Newark Liberty airports for their frequent delays and cancellations.
The survey did not include comments about lost luggage because that is handled by the airlines.
