KJZZ reached out to several offices for comment, including Gov. Doug Ducey, the secretary of state and the candidates for U.S. Senate.
A spokeperson with the Secretary of State’s Office said it has no comment on Trump’s statement. Requests made to the other three offices were not returned as of 4 p.m. Friday.
