ASU Ranked Top Public University Choice For International Students

Arizona State University has more international students than any other public university in the country.

For the for the fourth year in a row, the International Educational Exchange ranks ASU as the top public choice for international students, though overall it trails behind four private universities.

Holly Singh, senior director for the university’s international students and scholars center, says international students bring a diversity of cultures, ideas, and viewpoints to campus.

“And of course these international students are the best of the best from their home countries so they are pretty aware of rankings and pretty aware of the opportunities that are available, so they compare, contrast and choose ASU over other universities," said Singh.

International students pay almost three times more than Arizona residents and $2,000 more in yearly tuition and fees than out-of-state students.
