Scottsdale voters last week overwhelmingly approved Proposition 420.
The measure requires a public vote for development projects inside the McDowell Sonoran Preserve.
It was spurred by the Desert Edge proposal — a controversial 47,000-square-foot education center that supporters argue would boost tourism and critics say isn’t appropriate for the preserve.

He spoke to The Show to give us more on how the vote on Proposition 420 affects this development happening or not happening.
