Democrat Katie Hobbs has extended her lead by about 1,000 votes over Republican Steve Gaynor in the Arizona secretary of state’s race, after Maricopa County posted its latest update on processed ballots Wednesday evening.
The county still has 104,000 ballots to go.
With the latest numbers, Hobbs is up by about 6,000 votes, and the race remains too close to call.
