Law Group Sets Up Helpline To Assist Women Considering Self-Induced Abortions

There are expectations that certain states will continue to implement some kind of restrictions on abortion — including those that are medical or self-induced. And the new makeup of the U.S. Supreme Court, including Justice Brett Kavanaugh, leans in a conservative direction, leading to concerns among some that Roe v. Wade could be overturned.

It’s in this environment that the Self-Induced Abortion — or SIA — legal team has introduced a helpline to assist women who are worried about facing legal problems because of ending their own pregnancies.

To talk about that, The Show reached out to Jill Adams, chief strategy director for the SIA legal team.
