After a tight race against Republican Steve Gaynor, Katie Hobbs will take over as Arizona's secretary of state early next year.
Hobbs is the first Democrat to hold the office in more than two decades, but she said she’s not interested in party agendas.
Rather, she’s interested in transparency and increasing voter turnout.
