There is the realization that you may feel like a stranger in your own body and action needs to be taken. But family could reject you — often because members are hurt or disgusted. And what about society as a whole? Will you be ostracized — even violently attacked?
That is the reality for many people who decide to transition, but there can be a happy ending — even after dealing with deep pain for a time.
Phoenix residents Aubrey and Jordan Crisp are twins who have both gone through transitioning from female to male. They joined The Show to talk about their lives and the dramatic changes they’ve been through.
