Arizona Attorney General Reaches Agreement With Homie

A Utah real estate company covered the Valley with teal signs reading “Vote For Homie” during election season. Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich has now reached a deal with the firm to stop its marketing.

The Homie For Senate website encouraged consumers to submit their personal data in exchange for a free “Homie for Senate” T-shirt.

According to the Arizona Republic, the info included email addresses and phone numbers, raising concerns that Homie was improperly collecting consumer information for marketing purposes.

The Attorney General’s office has reached an agreement with the firm to stop marketing itself as a political candidate and delete information it received from consumers on its fake political campaign website.
