In November, for the second election in a row, voters in Flagstaff showed their support for a higher minimum wage.
According to the Arizona Daily Sun, in 2016, 53 percent of voters approved a minimum wage hike. Then this year, 55 percent voted to uphold it.
But, maintaining the status quo has some business owners and employers concerned.
Eva Putzova is a Flagstaff City Council member and she said raising the minimum wage to $15.00 by 2021 has had a positive effect on her city’s economy.
She joined The Show to talk more about it.
