New Book: Generational Conflicts Affect Affordable Housing Options

Cities across the country are working to figure out solutions to a lack of affordable housing. But in his new book, Randy Shaw argues the problem is a generational one.

Shaw is executive director of the Tenderloin Housing Clinic in San Francisco and author of " Generation Priced Out: Who Gets to Live in the New Urban America."

He joined The Show to tell us about his general thesis, which deals with baby boomers who are currently homeowners who might be looking to shift their housing, and millennials who are looking to get into the housing market.
