The City of Prescott is expecting its first winter storm Saturday night. About 1-4 inches of snow is expected to fall. John Heiney is the community outreach manager for the city of Prescott.
“We always want drivers to be prepared for winter conditions, whether they live here or whether they’re coming up here to visit. So just try to avoid, if there is a storm taking place, try to avoid driving during the winter weather conditions if possible.”
Heiney advises residents to make sure they are stocked up on supplies so they do not have to run out during the storm. The city also has crews on standby to clear the streets if necessary.
