OSIRIS-REx liftoff in 2016.

This morning marked a milestone for a mission to survey and collect a sample from the asteroid Bennu.

The spacecraft carrying OSIRIS-REx arrived at Bennu early Monday, after its launch more than two years ago. The mission is being led by researchers at the University of Arizona.

To talk about the arrival and what’s next, Carl Hergenrother, mission astronomer, joined The Show.
