The legendary Route 66 is full of short stories and tall tales, with songs written about the interstate that stretches from Chicago all the way to Los Angeles — with some Arizona stops in between. There are beautiful natural scenes, roadside motels and kitschy signs.
Many of those indelible images are in the new book " 66 on 66: A Photographer’s Journey," featuring the photographs of Terrence Moore, who has been capturing the shots for nearly five decades. And he’ll be signing copies at Changing Hands Bookstore in Phoenix on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
Moore joined The Show to talk about how his personal journey with Route 66 began.
