Workers tore down the nearly 50-year-old Scottsdale Airport terminal and built an aviation business center.
It features a park-like plaza area, public viewing area and new restaurant with views of the McDowell Mountains.
The airport has no commercial service, but is one of the state’s busiest corporate jet facilities.
The $27 million redevelopment project includes two new hangars, each offering direct runway access and 30,000 square feet of space.
The city says nearly 460 aircraft are based at Scottsdale Airport and it had approximately 168,000 takeoffs and landings in 2017.
