Federal Government Still Debating How To Pay For Infrastructure Improvements

President Donald Trump campaigned on a promise that he would deal with the country’s infrastructure.

During the course of his administration, there’s been optimism about getting a deal done with Congress. But so far, that hasn’t happened.

One of the reasons why seems to be disagreement over how to pay for these projects.

Aaron Klein studies and writes about this. He’s a fellow in economic studies at the Brookings Institution. The Show spoke with him and asked if he thinks this is still something that might get done, even with a divided government coming to D.C.
