The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has released its annual report, and it shows homelessness in Arizona is getting worse.
The number of homeless people counted in the state is up more than 10 percent, one of the five worst trends in the nation.
Pima County, for one, is attempting to move in an innovative direction for dealing with homelessness with its Housing First pilot project, and the county is also asking for help from the public.
Matt Pate is a program manager for the pilot project, and he joined The Show to talk about it and homelessness more generally.
