As the team heads to the ice for a game Friday at home against the New Jersey Devils, the Arizona Coyotes have a below .500 record but are still in the playoff hunt.
But as is often the case with the Coyotes, more attention is being paid to what’s happening with the front office rather than the players.
A year-end letter from president and CEO Ahron Cohen to fans included lines related to speculation about possible ownership transactions.
Cohen wrote, “This process has at its core one key pre-condition: any investment in our team must be laser-focused on helping the Coyotes achieve a long-term sustainable arena solution here in Arizona.”
So, what is the actual future of the Coyotes? Why is it important for the organization to remain here?
The Show caught up with Cohen and started by asking him why he thought it was necessary to write the letter.
