Beauty Brands To Close 6 Arizona Stores

A Missouri-based beauty retailer is pulling out of Arizona and will close six stores.

They include two stores in Tucson and four across metro Phoenix. Besides selling beauty products, the retailer offers salon and spa services.

In a statement last month, Beauty Brands’ CEO Caryn Lerner said, “Necessary organizational changes are required heading into the new year.”

The company will close 25 stores over the next few weeks and reduce staff at its headquarters in Kansas City. After the closures, Beauty Brands will have 33 stores in ten states.

“Make no mistake, these are difficult decisions which we did not take lightly,” Lerner said.

Beauty Brands identified the Arizona store locations as:

Peoria
Ahwatukee
Paradise Valley
Tucson
San Tan
La Encantada
