Deep trouble in the housing market took a huge chunk of the blame for the Great Recession in the United States a decade ago.
The Census Bureau’s most recent annual report, " Characteristics of New Housing," shows indicators that seem much healthier — including updated amenities and record square footage per person.
But how widespread are those benefits? Are first-time homebuyers feeling a squeeze?
