An Arizona charity is offering its services to federal workers impacted by the government shutdown.
St. Mary’s Food Bank says it has seen an increase in the number of families seeking assistance as more government workers are affected by furloughs and missing paychecks.
The food bank says it will offer a special Mobile Pantry Distribution for TSA agents at the TSA offices in Phoenix at Gateway Tower for workers to take home.
A statement from food bank said Federal agents were caught in the middle of a shutdown and the organization wants to “eliminate one concern during a difficult time.”
