Drought Contingency Plan, Sales Tax Increase For K-12 On Agenda At Arizona Capitol

Arizona has until Thursday to sign off on a Drought Contingency Plan (DCP).

The deadline was put in place by the federal government, which states that if Arizona doesn’t finish work on the plan by the end of the month, the feds may implement their own water restrictions.

Once again, the DCP will be front and center at the state capitol this week, and for a weekly look ahead at what to expect from the Legislature in the coming days, Ben Giles of the Arizona Capitol Times joined The Show.
