A few days ago, the Arizona Republican and Democratic parties chose their chairs. On Thursday, The Show spoke with Democrat Felecia Rotellini. She was re-elected chair following a successful 2018.
Friday, The Show was joined by Kelli Ward.
She was picked by Republicans to replace Jonathan Lines as GOP chair. Ward is probably best known for challenging John McCain in the 2016 U.S. Senate primary and Jeff Flake in 2018. Ward came up short in both efforts but has remained a loyal supporter of President Trump.
Now she’ll chair a party that will have to help defend the Senate seat Martha McSally was appointed to last month.
