A report issued last year finds that in 10 states, including Arizona, a tiny fraction of overall community foundation funding goes to Native American causes and organizations.
But, there are efforts to try to bring that number up. Sarah Eagle Heart is one of the people trying to do that. She’s CEO of the group Native Americans in Philanthropy, and she joined The Show.
