Tuesday night, President Donald Trump delivered his State of the Union address to a joint session of Congress.

“The agenda I will lay out this evening is not a Republican agenda or a Democrat agenda — it’s the agenda of the American people,” he said.

The president hit on a number of issues, including immigration, a border wall, health care and foreign policy. The president also called for bipartisanship, while warning Congressional Democrats against what he called “ridiculous” investigations.

To talk about his reaction to the speech, The Show heard from Democratic Arizona Congressman Tom O’Halleran, who represents the 1st Congressional District.

One of the biggest cheers of the evening came when the president acknowledged the number of new women elected to Congress.

“Exactly one century after Congress passed the constitutional amendment giving women the right to vote, we also have more women serving in Congress than at any time before,” he said.

To talk about what she thought of the speech, Republican Congresswoman Debbie Lesko, who represents Arizona’s 8th District, also joined The Show.
