Government and business leaders from both sides of the border are meeting at the Business Leadership Forum in Hermosillo to find ways to continue expanding cross-border business opportunities, said Arturo Fernández.
“It’s mostly oriented toward creating relationships and strengthening a link between our economies and companies in both cities," said Fernández, president of COPARMEX Sonora Norte, a business leaders union that helped plan the binational forum.
He said the forum is designed to bring the public and private sectors together better integrate the economies of the two states’ capital cities, and to fuel new economic development.
Fernández also hopes it will help foster more communication between government officials on both sides of the border.
