Friday is the last day for registered voters in Phoenix to request an early ballot by mail for the city’s special election. On March 12, voters will choose between Kate Gallego and Daniel Valenzuela for mayor.

Residents in Districts 5 and 8 will choose council members. To request an early ballot, registered voters can call 602-261-8683 (VOTE).

The city recommends voters mail ballots at least six days before Election Day on March 12. Voters can also drop off ballots at the City Clerk’s Office between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. weekdays. The office is on the 15th floor of Phoenix City Hall: 200 W. Washington St., Phoenix, Arizona.
Early ballots can also be dropped off at city voting centers on:
- Saturday, March 9 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Monday, March 11 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Tuesday, March 12 (Election Day) from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
