The Glendale City Council recently approved a development agreement for a new, multi-million dollar manufacturing facility in a partnership between manufacturer Ball Corporation, Red Bull and Rauch Fruit Juices.
Kevin Phelps, Glendale’s city manager, said the plant is set to be on a recently-annexed industrial campus on what the city is calling a “New Frontier District” along the Loop 303 corridor.
“We’re getting a tremendous amount of interest along that corridor," Phelps said, "that we think, over the next few years, will build out and be an important economic hub for the City of Glendale.”
Phelps said the site would bring more than 140 jobs to Glendale, and is expected to be in operation in 2021.
