Grand Canyon National Park Superintendent Christine Lehnertz will resign at the end of March.
Lehnertz announced this decision to staff on Thursday on the heels of an investigation into allegations of hostility and reckless spending. Last month, however, the National Parks Service announced those allegations were wholly unfounded and that Lehnertz could return.
For more on this surprising resignation, Annette McGivney, who wrote about Lehnertz for Outside Magazine, joined The Show.
