Study Finds Public Universities Contributed $11 Billion To The Arizona Economy In 2017

The Arizona Board of Regents recently  released a study analyzing the impact all three state universities have on their local economies.

The study conducted by two in-state consulting firms found Northern Arizona University, Arizona State University and the University of Arizona supported 84,000 jobs and contributed more than $11 billion in 2017.

The analysis looked at spending and earning levels surrounding the universities' operations with students and employees, vendors and out-of-state visitors.
