The stars of HGTV’s “Home Town” certainly love the beauty of historic homes in the small town of Laurel, Mississippi, where they do their televised renovations. But for them, it’s more about community than refurbished cabinets.
Erin and Ben Napier have staked their success on rebuilding their hometown, one outdated house at a time. And they are definitely on the road to success.
Their show is in its third season on HGTV, and their memoir " Make Something Good Today" was released just last year.
Erin began her career as an artist who worked in corporate graphic design and Ben is a woodworker with a degree in history. And, on the show, they bring those talents together to restore homes and bring the town back to life.
The Show got the chance to speak with Erin and Ben and asked them about where this all began.
