Actress and comedian Vicki Lawrence has played her character “Mama” for 45 years, starting with "The Carol Burnett Show" and moving on to "Mama’s Family."
Lawrence was scheduled to tell stories of her career and don Mama's wig on March 23 at the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts in a show called "Vicki Lawrence and Mama: A Two-Woman Show." The event was unfortunately cancelled due to a personal family health emergency.
Lawrence spoke with KJZZ's The Show and shared a small piece of the program.
