House Ethics Committee: No Privacy For Rep. David Stringer's Documents

The Arizona House Ethics Committee decided Rep. David Stringer cannot keep documents private that relate to an investigation against him.

The panel voted 4-1 on Wednesday to require the Prescott Republican to give up the documents and also sit for an interview with investigators.

There are currently two ethics complaints against Stringer — one deals with alleged sex charges from the 1980's while the other centers on racist remarks he’s made more recently.

For more on that and other legislative news, The Show spoke with Howard Fischer of Capitol Media Services.
