Circle K is continuing to face a shortage of gasoline that has plagued its stations across Arizona for weeks.
The company has blamed its supply chain for the problem.
Michelle Donati with AAA Arizona says part of the reason is there has been a supply slowdown from west Texas and ethanol delivery issues from the Midwest caused by recent storms.
“It’s also likely that other stations might be feeling its squeeze too, especially considering that regional refining capacity is down from 91 percent to 88 percent.”
Prices rose around 9 cents a gallon in the past week in Arizona.
The average price is $2.72 a gallon for regular unleaded fuel — 3 cents above the national average.
