The Arizona House Ethics Committee released documents in its investigation into former Rep. David Stringer, the Prescott Republican who resigned on Wednesday.
The documents released Friday include police reports from Maryland in the 1980s, which detail allegations of sex crimes against Stringer.

Meanwhile, David Stringer’s resignation has left the Legislature one member down, which could have an impact on the work lawmakers do this week.
Yavapai County public spokesman David McAtee says the board of supervisors will decide who will join Republican Noel Campbell to represent Legislative District 1.
“The board is meeting this Wednesday. They’ll do a special meeting right at 9:00 where they will discuss and then vote on one of the three that we were given.”
The Yavapai County Republican Committee met Sunday and selected three finalists — former Senate President Steve Pierce, former Secretary of State Ken Bennett and Steven Sensmeier, a 27-year-old conservative upstart.
