General Casimir Pulaski came to America from Poland to fight alongside George Washington in the War of Independence and was known as the father of the American cavalry.
But he was also known to be difficult, extremely private, arrogant and sometimes reckless in battle. And now, an ASU professor and his colleague have uncovered a long-held secret about the general.
To learn about that secret, The Show spoke with Professor Charles Merbs, the forensic anthropologist at ASU who worked on the discovery.
The Smithsonian Channel has also made a documentary about Merbs and the elusive general.
