At Least 6 School District Policies Across Arizona Could Have Been Breaking The Law

A check of school district policies across Arizona shows at least six could have been breaking the law by asking for parents to show a state-issued ID before enrolling their kids.

The ACLU had dinged Yuma Union High School District for doing this. The district has since said it would stop.

Lila Altavena, K-12 education reporter for The Arizona Republic, has been perusing district enrollment policies across the state and joined The Show to talk about what she’s found.
