The focus was squarely on Arizona in a New York federal court on Monday in the ongoing federal basketball bribery trial.
Among other evidence, the prosecution presented testimony from witnesses and played video showing former University of Arizona Assistant Coach Emanuel “Book” Richardson taking $5,000 in a sting operation that included a former agent’s runner named Christian Dawkins.
But the bombshell for the program came when Dawkins was heard, via FBI recording, saying that UA head coach Sean Miller “fronted” a deal involving payments to land former star player Deandre Ayton.
