Arizona Supreme Court Declines Hearing Case On State University Tuition

The Arizona Supreme Court has declined to hear arguments in a case brought by state Attorney General Mark Brnovich, which claims the way tuition is set at ASU, UofA and NAU is unconstitutional.

In his suit, the AG argued the Board of Regents decides how much it wants to charge and then goes about defending the amount, rather than charging the amount it actually costs to teach students.

Brnovich’s spokesperson Ryan Anderson says the ruling is not a surprise.

To talk more about this, Howard Fischer of Capitol Media Services, joined The Show.
