In response, the Arizona Department of Housing promised to help stem the tide by creating a program that assisted families before they found themselves inside a courtroom. But the September start date for that idea came and went — and still nothing.
Arizona Republic reporter Alden Woods spoke to The Show and said the pilot program has, in fact, arrived — albeit quietly — and in a much different form than originally promised.
Alden started by talking about the initial eviction crisis.
