Realtors Study Suggests Phoenix Is Unpopular Among Millennials

A new study from the National Realtors Association looked at employment gains, population trends, income levels and housing conditions in the 100 biggest metro areas in the country and came up with a list of the top 10 cities for Millennials.

The top cities included Denver, Colorado, Salt Lake City, Utah and Madison, Wisconsin. Phoenix is number 48 on the list, not even close to the top 10.

So, why aren’t Millennials moving here at higher rates? For more on that, The Show sat down with Rachel Yanof, executive director of Achieve60AZ, which works to get 60 percent of Arizona adults a post-secondary degree or credential by 2030.

She said, in the end, it’s all about education.
