Boas On Phoenix Police Shooting And Anti-Semitism Statistics

Phil Boas
Arizona Republic
Phil Boas

The Show regularly checks in with Editorial Board of the Arizona Republic to talk about the big issues facing the state and the region — featured in the newspaper’s Viewpoints section.

The incidences of anti-Semitism in Arizona — and across the country — are on the rise, and concerns are heightened by recent synagogue shootings in Pittsburgh and near San Diego.

Meanwhile, the number of police shootings in Phoenix spiked to a record high of 44 last year, up from 17 as recently as 2015.

Arizona Republic Editorial Director Phil Boas joined The Show for his weekly appearance to talk about the Arizona Republic's featured columns from the Arizona regional director of the Anti-Defamation League and the paper’s own Bob Robb looking at those numbers.
