Arizona’s congressional delegation is reacting to President Donald Trump’s proposed $2 trillion infrastructure plan.

Republican Paul Gosar said the president should focus on regional spending instead of a mammoth bill.

“That ain’t gonna happen. But, I’ve always said, there’s opportunities to do pilots. And the one pilot I’ve been pushing with the administration is I-11. This is beneficial to California, Arizona and Nevada.”

But Democrat Ann Kirkpatrick is finding common ground with the president. “I do support it. I’ve wanted to do a major infrastructure project for the past five or six years. So, I’m happy to see that move forward in a bipartisan manner,” she said.

Trump and congressional leaders have agreed to meet in the coming weeks to figure out how to pay for the plan.
