Arizona Red Cross Volunteers Head To Tornado And Flood Torn Midwest

The Arizona Red Cross headed to the Midwest and the South to help victims of the recent flooding and tornadoes.

They will help Little Rock, Arkansas residents displaced by Tuesday's tornado. Other crews have fanned out to Oklahoma, Missouri and Kansas where tornadoes and floods have forced mass evacuations.

"Those volunteers are going to be doing a disaster technology, which means that they're going to be setting up all of the systems needed to help the public recover from these disasters," said Colin Williams with the Arizona Red Cross.

The volunteers will stay there for two weeks.

This year, the Red Cross is seeking help nationwide after last year's hurricanes, floods and wildfires taxed its resources.
