After two years of complaints from customers about the company’s rising prices, state utility regulators have launched a new inquiry into the company’s rates and profits.
In a 5-0 vote, the Arizona Corporation Commission is ordering APS to file a new rate case by October 31. The process could take a year, and the result could mean prices for APS’s more than one million customers will go down — or up.
