More construction begins on the Loop 101, but this time it’s in Scottsdale.
The on- and off-ramps for Hayden and Scottsdale roads on Loop 101 will begin closing.
The westbound ramps will close today, and eastbound will next on June 24. Arizona Department of Transportation estimates the ramps will reopen mid-August.
The $185 million project will add lanes and other improvements to the freeway. The entire project is projected to be finished in 2021.
